A magazine for travelers ready to go further — geographically, culturally, and consciously.
A few years ago, we looked around and realized something was missing.
Travel media was still pushing the same cities, the same beaches, the same narratives. We’ve traced the same paths, returned to the same places, stayed where the world has made room for us. Not because we lack curiosity, but because we’ve been told—directly or indirectly—where we should go and don’t belong.
That’s where Young International was born.
Beyond the cities we always visit, beyond the places we feel expected to go, lies an entire world rich with beauty, culture, and experiences that remain unseen. What happens when we push past those boundaries? When we step into the unknown, not as outsiders, but as travelers reclaiming the spaces we were never meant to overlook?
This magazine is about stepping beyond the expected and seeing the world without limits. From the reindeer herders and eagle hunters of Mongolia to the pristine beaches of Grenada. From Uzbekistan’s blue-domed Silk Road cities to Pakistan’s turquoise mountain lakes. From the volcanic deserts of Djibouti to Georgia, where wine was born.
Through these pages, you’ll see landscapes that feel like they belong in a dream, taste flavors that speak in history and tradition, and meet destinations reshaping the world in ways we never expected. The world is vast, layered, and full of stories waiting to be uncovered.
Young International is for travelers ready to go further—geographically, culturally, and consciously. Because the world is too big, too rich, and too important to keep exploring the same places forever.
The world is waiting. Go further.
Showcasing lesser-known, stunning destinations that rarely make travel lists — places with luxury, culture, and landscapes that rival (or
surpass) the usual suspects.
This magazine is for travelers ready to push past what’s expected, see the world on their own terms, and take up space in places they
were told didn’t belong to them.
Born and raised in France, Amina is proudly of Malian and Congolese heritage. Her global lens was shaped early by the intersections of West African identity and European life—an upbringing that taught her to question which stories get told, and which get left out.
An experienced traveler with 36+ countries under her belt, Amina previously worked in television and casting for MTV, Bravo, and Paramount, where she developed an eye for stories that resonate. That experience now fuels her editorial direction: content with cultural depth, visual richness, and global relevance that challenges everything we thought we knew about travel.
Frustrated by how mainstream media overlooked entire regions—or reduced them to stereotypes—Amina built Young International to spotlight destinations on their own terms. To show that underrepresented doesn’t mean inferior. That hidden doesn’t mean unworthy.
She splits her time between New York City, Paris, and wherever the next story calls.
Young International is built on firsthand experience. Our contributors have traveled to the destinations they write about — bringing perspective, cultural fluency, and stories that only come from actually being there.
Young International partners with boutique hotels, tourism boards, luxury brands, and innovative companies that align with our mission. If you’re interested in collaboration, sponsorship, or being featured, we’d love to hear from you.
